June’s Best-Performing FEVO Offers
Inter Miami CF
It should come as no surprise that signing the GOAT led to an unbelievable amount of enthusiasm and action from the Inter Miami fanbase, who capitalized on the Messi madness by quickly offering up season ticket deposits for the 2024 season. A good lesson to always be prepared to take advantage of a big occasion.
Minnesota Sports and Events
In preparation for the U.S. Gymnastics Team Trials for the 2024 Summer Olympics, early-bird tickets were made available to purchase at a 25% discount specifically for USA Gymnastics Club members. While the trials in Minneapolis were still a year away (June 2024), Minnesota Sports and Events and U.S. Gymnastics were able to drive sales by making members feel valued with early access and a discount.
The 2023 US Open Sponsor Employee Offer was a hit, offering BOGO for tickets to select sessions of the tournament. The US Open email-gated the offer by requiring employees to use their corporate email address (which then matched with a sponsor list) to secure the deal, which completely sold out.
University of Alabama
College football is nearly a religion in the state of Alabama, and the university was able to drive big sales with their upcoming Parent & Family Weekend against Ole Miss on September 23rd. Alabama was able to promo-gate the offer as well, ensuring that only designated parties could use the offer.
Orlando City SC
The central Florida MLS club put together a Defend the Fortress- 4 Match Pack which featured tickets to some of the biggest games of the season, including — as they point out in the offer — the upcoming derby against Inter Miami. Packages started at $125 and went up from there depending on seating location.
June’s Most Creative FEVO Offers
Forward Madison FC
From the brilliant minds that brought you the sold-out DILF Night (Dad’s in Love with Football) comes another genius offer: The Holiday Hangover Ticket Package. For the post-July 4th USL League One game, each ticket also came with a pair of sunglasses, bottle of Gatorade and pack of breath mints.
The Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers created a Christmas in July bundle which includes a Premium Ticket located on the lower level behind the net, a Sounds beanie, oven mitt and retractable badge holder.
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
For their July 6th game against the Beloit Sky Carp, the Timber Rattlers hosted a TV Sitcom Night featuring Kate Flannery, otherwise known as Meredith from The Office. Tickets included a box seat ticket, Q&A session and Meredith bobblehead.
Toledo Mud Hens
The Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers put on a Girls Night Out offer which included a cross-body bag giveaway for the first 1,500 fans as well as a postgame concert by Simply Spice, a Spice Girls cover band. Attendees could also upgrade their ticket package to include a rooftop seltzer tasting at the stadium the same day.
Whether or not you are a fan of the booming sport of pickleball, it is indeed a thing. And the Jaguars are capitalizing on the craze with Pickleball Day. Fans can purchase a package that also includes a Jaguars branded pickleball paddle. And for those wondering, yes, it is USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) approved.
Minor League and Collegiate
Orange County Soccer Club
The USL Championship club put on a Start of Summer Beer Fest. Tickets got fans access not only to the game, but also more than 50 beers, food trucks, lawn games, giveaways and more.
Purdue Family weekend, which will take place September 16th against Syracuse, is a smash hit so far. The huge success is due to a) the school spirit of the Boilermakers and b) the university's decision to make a wide range of prices available for this offer ($35 to $95).
The Upstate New York team hosted a Little League Night which also happened to be a single-admission double-header. There was a Little League parade in between games, and the first 3,000 fans under 12 got a complimentary youth jersey.
University of South Carolina
The Gamecocks created a Father’s Day Deal to get a jump start on selling tickets for the upcoming football season. Tickets were accompanied by a certificate that fans could present to their fathers on Father’s Day.
