Back to Basics: Integrated vs. Non-Integrated Offers
When building Offers in FEVO Enterprise, one of the first decisions you’ll make is whether to use an integrated or non-integrated (FEVO Inventory) setup.
Both serve important purposes—but choosing the right one depends on how your inventory is managed and what you’re selling.
What Are Integrated Offers?
Integrated Offers connect directly to your primary ticketing system—like Ticketmaster Archtics/Host, AXS, Paciolan, SeatGeek, or Tickets.com.
This connection allows FEVO to sync with your live inventory in real-time.
That means:
- Seats reflect real-time availability
- Pricing and inventory updates automatically
- Sales data flows back into your ticketing system
Integrated Offers support two main approaches:
- Open Inventory: Pull directly from your live seat map
- Imported Inventory: Bring in specific, reserved seat blocks
Because everything is connected, these Offers help maintain clean data and reduce manual work on the backend.
When to use Integrated Offers:
- Selling live ticket inventory for games or events
- Managing high-demand or high-volume sales
- Ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation
Example:
A team selling a rivalry game can use Open Inventory to automatically reflect sold-out sections and updated pricing—without manual adjustments.
Example:
For a Military Appreciation Night, integrating with Archtics and ID.me verification allows verified buyers to receive seats instantly in their account.
What Are Non-Integrated Offers (FEVO Inventory)?
Non-integrated Offers—also known as FEVO Inventory—are built and managed entirely within FEVO.
There's no connection to your primary ticketing system, which gives you more flexibility in what you can sell.
Instead of pulling from a live manifest, you control:
- Inventory quantities
- Pricing tiers
- Product types
These Offers are ideal for anything that doesn’t live in your ticketing system.
When to use Non-Integrated Offers:
- General admission or non-seated events
- Merchandise or bundled products
- Experiences, memberships, or add-ons
Example:
A team hosting a watch party for an away game can quickly launch a general admission Offer and deliver access via QR codes—no ticketing system required.
Example:
A flash sale for merch bundles can use inventory bucketing and dynamic pricing to increase prices as items sell out.
Key Difference, Simplified
- Integrated Offers: Sync with your ticketing system for real-time inventory and automated data flow
- Non-Integrated Offers: Managed in FEVO for flexibility and non-traditional inventory
Choosing the Right Approach
If your Offer depends on live ticket inventory and needs to stay aligned with your primary system, integration is the way to go.
If you’re selling something outside of that system—or need to move quickly with full control—FEVO Inventory gives you the flexibility to do it.
Most organizations use a mix of both.
Why It Matters
Understanding when to use integrated vs. non-integrated Offers helps you:
- Avoid operational headaches
- Keep your data clean
- Launch Offers faster
- Expand beyond traditional ticket sales
It's not about choosing one over the other—it’s about using the right tool for the job.
